This pendant is cast in a handmade mould made from a cuttlebone.
This ancient casting technique dates back hundreds of years. Hand carved moulds that create a one off design, capturing the beautiful organic waves that are the natural structure of the cuttlebone.
All my cuttlebones are found by me on uk beaches, a by product of the sea, nothing is harmed during this process.
At 15 grams of recycled sterling silver this pendant has a nice solid feel.
Sold on black waxed cotton cord, and in plastic free eco pacing, made from paper, card and sheep's wool.
